Qualified Baker FULL-TIME

We're always on the look out for good humans as demand grows, particular for Full Time Qualified Bakers in pie production (Not cakes and slices etc which is done onsite at our shop location). All bakers are employeed full-time with a total of 40-45 hours a week. Early starts, with early finishes! Monday to Friday. No Weekends!
Bakers duties include;
Lining base pastry into pie tins, filling the pies, rolling on and cutting out top pastry.
Make pastry to specific Fat Bastard Pies standards (training provided).
Loading and unloading pies from the oven.
Heavy lifting and operating commercial machinery.
An ideal candidate will;
Hold qualification in Baking with commercial experience
Knowledge of food & workplace safety
Be efficient and able to work well under pressure
Great attitude, motivated and reliable
Act quickly and be punctual.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Ability to stand for long periods at a time
Ability to work extra hours if required
A positive attitude is an extremely valuable asset as we aim to create a positive team environment.
The position is based in Invercargill, Southland NZ. Only applicants with current working visas with a minimum of 2 years or permanent residents of NZ will be considered.
